For the relatively short time that she has been behind the lens, Ashley Champagne is incredibly established, with an impressive roster of clients and an extensive portfolio, including having photographed Lady Gaga, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Dragonette and Diplo to name a few. With a background in performing arts, Ashley brings a unique perspective to her photography work and has an innate ability to capture truth, poignancy and beauty in each photograph.

Available for
commercial, editorial, fashion and portrait photography, Ashley’s fascination and love for people attracted her to the career. A graduate of NAIT’s professional photography program, Ashley finished school with the top portfolio in her class. Her innovative and charming style can be seen in the pages of Georgie Magazine, a local Edmonton fashion, arts and culture publication; not only is she Georgie’s head photographer and photo editor, Ashley is also the magazine’s co-creator.

Don’t let her humble, light-hearted personality fool you - Ashley Champagne is a creative fire-cracker, talented beyond her twenty-something years. Capturing an image is only a facet of the job: “I am so fascinated by people,” she explains, “to me, photography is about being able to experience the faces I shoot, and trying to understand who they are as individuals...to fall in love with them for the moment.” The result? Pristine, inspiring images that set Ashley Champagne apart and make her one of the most sought-after young photographers in her field.
